Homemaking is such a general term, that I have decided to break down a few of the challenges we meet by separating those duties tied to the homemakers responsibilities.

First off, everyone experiences being a homemaker of some sort or another, for many of us, we learn early that the responsibility of the homemaker far outweighs the rewards.

When you were a child you may have experienced some of the duties, following a boisterous demand from the mouth of your Mother! One such experience, "Clean your room, or I'll tell your Father!"

Well, wahootie, that does not exactly promote the desire for you to become a successful homemaker! It did, however, promote the action of performing the duties for most of us.

Time frames as we experience them today, place many of us in a position of, "Running short."

With many more, "Running shorts," you begin to get the picture that I believe we need to find short cuts that will help us to better accomplish all of those necessary time consuming duties we possess as Homemakers!

In order to perform at our ultimate performance level, we realize we must stay healthy, first and foremost.

In order to stay healthy, we need to determine a program for our lives that will include, a healthy diet, an exercise regimen that is not only a good program, but also one with which we can consistently perform.

We will also need Spiritual nourishment, quiet time where we take time to reflect inward to our Source, God, for the rebuilding of our depleted oneness and focus. It is in this time, that we honestly confess that our balance has been tipped by all of those demands of Homemaking.

While I admit, Homemaking is a demanding job, I also believe there are few jobs as rewarding, as the fulfillment of this position.

When you consider the cost of having someone come in and take over this position, you would find that charge nearly unmentionable, for the value would be so great!

A Homemaker is responsible for keeping all the minute details of life, in order, they are responsible for balancing checkbooks in many a home, for laundry duties, meals prepared and served, for delivery service of the household members to and from various appointments, to say nothing of their nursing abilities.

Yes, Homemaking is a huge responsibility, but in any context, it is inconceivable to have one in charge of this duty, who does not know that what they do, is assisting in the shaping of our Nation!

I for one, salute every Homemaker who is attempting to fill this role!
